Job summary

Alkegen is hiring a Tool & Die professional to construct, alter, and repair highly complex tools, molds, jigs, fixtures, and gauges at our Ohio manufacturing site.

You will read and interpret blueprints, use lathe, milling machines, grinders, welders, and drill presses, and ensure tooling meets customer specifications. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork, with training provided as needed.

Hours may vary and overtime can be required on weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferable.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and blueprints.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Constructing, altering, and repairing highly complex custom tools, molds, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Utilize toolroom equipment to ensure tooling is meet to customer specifications.
• Read, interpret, and analyze blueprints.
• Ability to utilize measuring equipment such as tape measure, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of dies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment.
