Qualifications

• Trade school or equivalent in machine trades and close tolerance machining.
• Reading blueprints and understanding tolerances required.
• Ability to train others and work with large tooling programs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machine tools to cut, bore, grind and finish parts.
• Verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
• Inspect dies and tools for conformance to specs and adjust as needed.
• Study blueprints and specs to plan machining sequences and tooling.
