Job summary

Midway Products Group, INC is seeking a Tool and Die Maker for 1st shift to build, repair, and troubleshoot dies and tooling. You will support die sets in production and analyze SPC data for dimensional accuracy.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a certified 4-year apprenticeship in die making, or 8 years in tool/die shop, plus strong verbal and written communication skills. Safety and housekeeping are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Prefer high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified 4-year apprenticeship in die making and/or tool die making, or eight years in tool/die shop building tools and dies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with focus on completing tasks accurately.
• Flexible in scheduling and goal-oriented for task completion.
• Education: High School / GED preferred.
• Experience: 4–8 years in apprenticeship or tool & die work.

Responsibilities

• Build tool and dies from part prints, sketches, reference parts, or instructions.
• Operate tool room machinery safely during build.
• Perform tool and die repairs on various dies and diagnose issues.
• Work from TC.O. reports and last piece references to correct deviations.
• Support try outs and ready production after die/tool installations.
• Service die sets for press room operations and adjust via SPC data.
• Interface with internal/external customers and participate on problem solving teams.
• Support MOS and safety programs; maintain housekeeping standards.
• Performs other essential functions as assigned.
