Job description

Must be qualified and proficient operating manual machine shop equipment (grinder, lathe, mill, etc.) to make replacement parts for production equipment. Candidate must have Five (5) plus years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker/Maintenance Machinist and must have State Journeyman’s Papers.

Qualified individuals will be required to demonstrate skills in manual machines, lathes, mill machines, use of turn tables, drill presses, surface grinder and other machines. Must be able to demonstrate skills in reading both part drawings, assembly drawings and have strong troubleshooting skills. Must be able to interpret blueprints of machine assemblies.

Responsibilities include:

1. Repair and rebuild clutches, stamping presses, Dexter feeders, conveyors, turrets, etc.
2. Layout material and fabricate equipment guards, rails, chutes, etc.
3. Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
4. Safely secure and move equipment using forklifts.
5. Complete projects and tasks with minimal guidance.
6. Work various shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range for this position: $29.87 - $33.19 per hour.
