Job summary

dormakaba International Holding AG in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a First Shift Tool & Die Maker II to work from blueprints and sketches, creating and modifying prototypes, dies, jigs, fixtures and molds. You will build and repair custom shop tools using machining equipment and precise measuring instruments.

Responsibilities include operating machines, performing advanced quality inspections, tool set-up and template design.

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a First Shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM) Tool & Die Maker II based in Indianapolis, IN. The Tool & Die Maker II works from blueprints and sketches to create or modify prototypes, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and molds; builds and repairs custom machine shop tools using machining equipment and measuring instruments.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $27/hr. - $36/hr. Overtime may be mandatory as needed. (Base pay to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
