dormakaba seeks a First Shift Tool & Die Maker II in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves reading blueprints, building/modifying tools and dies, and repairing custom shop tools. Base pay is $27–$36/hour with bonuses and comprehensive benefits; overtime may be required.

The candidate will operate machines, perform quality inspections, and train others while maintaining 5S housekeeping and adhering to safety standards. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 is offered.

Job description

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a First Shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM) Tool & Die Maker II based in Indianapolis, IN. The Tool & Die Maker II works from blueprints and sketches to create or modify prototypes, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and molds; builds and repairs custom machine shop tools using machining equipment and measuring instruments.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $27/hr. - $36/hr. Overtime may be mandatory as needed. (Base pay to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
