Job summary

TekPro is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair progressive and transfer stamping dies that support high-volume metal stamping operations. The role requires meticulous craftsmanship and hands-on experience in a busy shop environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience, and can read blueprints, GD&T, and CAD prints while working with mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment to tight

Qualifications

• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience building and repairing metal stamping dies.
• Proficient reading of blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
• Experience with high-volume stamping operations.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, troubleshoot, and repair progressive, transfer, and blanking dies.
• Diagnose tooling issues and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, tool drawings, and CAD prints.
• Machine, grind, fit, and polish tool components to precise tolerances.
• Operate manual toolroom equipment including mills, lathes, surface grinders, and EDM equipment as needed.
