Job summary

Flex-N-Gate in Indiana is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to fabricate parts and maintain dies using standard knee mills, lathes and grinders. You will follow blueprints, sketches and other instructions to meet production needs.

The role requires reading complex blueprints, performing duties safely, and supporting tooling with preventive maintenance. It offers competitive hourly pay, shift premium, and benefits including insurance, 401(k) and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and drawings accurately.
• Ability to weld and heat treat as part of die maintenance.
• Able to operate tool and die equipment safely and efficiently.
• Experience running Wire EDM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all dies and support equipment, perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Fabricate details using blueprints, sketches, and instructions with mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Read detailed blueprints and fabricate parts to tolerances using various materials and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
