Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker for a daylight shift in the Latrobe, PA area. The role offers a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment and long-term potential with excellent benefits once hired on.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating manual tooling, assembling die sets, and refurbishing tooling to ensure quality. Overtime may be required; punctual, dependable candidates with strong problem-solving skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Tool & Die making experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic shop math skills.
• Experience with manual machines and precision grinders.
• Ability to work full shifts and be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and precision grinders.
• Build, maintain, assemble, and troubleshoot powder compacting tooling made from carbide and steel.
• Assemble various die sets for different pressing applications.
• Identify worn components and refurbish tooling to maintain product quality.
• Troubleshoot die issues in the powder compacting process and modify tooling as needed.
• Interpret prints, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize tooling and component designs.
• Maintain high ethical and professional work standards.
