Job summary

Display Pack – Mold and Die Maker is an on-site, full-time détenu role focused on constructing thermoforming tooling and repairing tooling to CAD specs. You will operate lathes, milling machines, radial drills, and grinders, ensuring precision with micrometers and calipers.

A strong mechanical background and shop math aptitude are essential. The ideal candidate has 3+ years tool and die experience or technical schooling, journeyman card preferred, and GTAW welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years tool and die experience or technical school certificate is required.
• Journeyman card is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and shop math aptitude is preferred.
• GTAW welding experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build tooling to CAD specifications.
• Set up and operate machine tools (lathe, milling machine, radial drill, and grinder).
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts using calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Repair damaged or worn tooling.
• Troubleshoot tooling during production.
• Follow safety guidelines and GMPs.
