Job summary

HiFyve is seeking skilled Tool and Die Makers for its Columbus, NE facility. You will manufacture, repair, modify, and maintain progressive dies and tooling used in automotive production.

Responsibilities include die maintenance, fabrication. You must read blueprints and GD&T, operate mills, lathes, grinders, EDM, and use precision gauges. 2nd shift: Mon-Fri 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; safety and quality adherence required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Tool and Die Maker status or accredited certificate.
• At least 5 years of related Tool and Die experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
• Experience repairing and maintaining stamping dies and production tooling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, modify, and maintain progressive dies, stamping dies, fixtures, molds, and production tooling.
• Perform die maintenance using tool room equipment and hand tools.
• Fabricate and repair dies used in production.
• Lay out existing die sections and manufacture replacements as needed.
• Perform in-press tooling repairs.
• Machine parts according to blueprint specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
• Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
