Job summary

Production Products, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker for a 2nd shift. You will build, repair and troubleshoot dies, support the press room during die sets, and analyze data to improve part processing and quality.

Under supervision of the Engineering Manager and Team Leader, perform die repairs, diagnose issues, and contribute to SPC data. You may assist apprentices and interface with customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified 4-year apprenticeship in Die Making and/or Tool & Die Making or 8 years in a Tool/Die shop.
• Welding experience in TIG, MIG and Stick processes.

Responsibilities

• Build tool and dies from prints, sketches or instructions.
• Operate tool room machinery safely during builds.
• Repair dies on progressive, transfer, and other tooling.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot dies on bench and in press.
• Support production by changing dies and preparing runs.
• Interface with customers and support problem-solving teams.
