Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a Tool and Die Maker for the 2nd shift to plan, design, build, repair, and troubleshoot dies and fixtures. You will work from complex drawings, perform precision machining, fit and adjust components, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards on a busy shop floor.

You will collaborate with engineers and supervisors, inspect your own work, and handle various paperwork requirements while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a recognized Tool & Die program or apprenticeship is preferred.
• 2+ years of tool room experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, build, and repair a wide variety of tools, dies, jigs, gauges and fixtures to close tolerance.
• Review use and application of tools to resolve problems (troubleshoot).
• Inspect own work and ensure parts meet print and process specs.
• Complete all paperwork and records as required.
