What Drives Success

Under general supervision, you will design, build, and repair a variety of tools, jigs, fixtures, welding, brazing, and assembly fixtures. You will guide and train other tool makers, analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate a wide variety of exact‑tolerance machine tools, and fit and assemble parts to fabricate and repair metal‑working dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machinists’ hand tools. You will modify dies to conform to engineering changes, troubleshoot equipment, and perform complex repairs.

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1–3 years of related experience
• Moderate knowledge of tearing down units, troubleshooting problems, determining extent of troubles, repairing damage mechanisms, replacing worn or defective parts, and reassembling
• Ability to select the best material for specific purposes, troubleshoot and diagnose problems with metal‑working dies and other tooling
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
• Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non‑exempt role. The starting pay range for this role is $22.00–$26.25 per hour, varying by geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Employees also may earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).

Benefits: Subject to eligibility requirements, benefits include tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short‑term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long‑term disability insurance. Depending on date of hire, new employees may receive up to 10 days paid time off, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
