Job summary

Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC is seeking a Tool and Die Machinist to maintain and repair dies, punches, tool steel, and fixtures. You will set up and operate milling machines, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other tools under supervision while designing fixtures for new products.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, strong math skills, and commitment to safety. Drug-free workplace with competitive salary and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years minimum verifiable machinist experience and/or Technical Diploma.
  • Ability to read schematics (blueprints), engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Ability to perform basic maintenance of equipment.
  • Working knowledge of CNC programming and operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Determine repair extent and method for dies by inspection and measurement.
  • Perform repair operations to dies and fixtures.
  • Set up and operate milling machines, lathe, drill press, grinder and other tools.
  • Design and manufacture tools and fixtures for new products.
  • Follow OSHA and internal safety standards.
