Qualifications

• Must be a certified Journeyman in Tool and Die with 10+ years of experience.
• Able to work 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) or 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:30am) and overtime every 3rd weekend.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Attain safety, quality and productivity goals
• Repair and maintain production tools and dies
• Construct new tools and dies as required
• Verify conformance of dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances and alignments
• Troubleshoot problems during production
• Modify dies to conform to engineering changes; conduct tryouts of new dies
• Work to blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions
• Maintain and update equipment records, schematics, blueprints and files
• Operate lift truck, overhead crane, floor scrubber and equipment to wash dies
• Perform other duties as assigned
