Job summary

Milwaukee Valve Company in Prairie Du Sac, WI is seeking a Tool Designer on the 1st shift. This salaried exempt role is 100% on-site with regular office hours and has no option for hybrid or remote work.

You will design tooling, jigs, fixtures and gauges using CAD/CAM, SolidWorks and related Microsoft software, collaborating with engineering and shop personnel to resolve design problems and improve manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience with CAD/CAM and SolidWorks required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges for manufacturing processes.
• Develop tool configurations using algebraic/geometric formulas.
• Select standard items to incorporate into tool design.
• Prepare layout drawings and detailed drawings.
