Job summary

Qualifications

• Education requirement: Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Requires 5 years machining or Journeyman’s card or commensurate management experience.
• Leadership and supervision of Tool Room staff.
• Strong emphasis on quality and safety.
• Ability to train Tool Crib and Tool Room staff.
• Familiarity with SAP systems and tooling processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Tool Room staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.
• Coach, plan, monitor and appraise work results; enforce policies.
• Schedule, assign and monitor work requests and resources.
• Provide quality service to internal/external customers; ensure standards.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to improve tools and fixtures.
• Maintain safe and compliant working environment and procedures.
