Job summary

Moeller Aerospace is seeking a Tool Design & Maintenance Engineer to support the design, maintenance, and optimization of precision fixtures for aerospace components. You will troubleshoot fixturing systems and work with manufacturing and quality teams to enhance product quality and production efficiency.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background, 3+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of tool or fixture design experience in a precision machining environment.
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, GD&T, and blueprint reading.
• Experience with aerospace materials such as Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintenance, and optimization of precision machining fixtures used in aerospace and gas turbine components.
• Troubleshoot and improve hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical fixturing systems.

Moeller Aerospace is seeking a skilled Tool Design & Maintenance Engineer to support the design, maintenance, and optimization of precision machining fixtures used in the production of complex aerospace and gas turbine engine components.

In this role, you'll troubleshoot and improve hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical fixturing systems, collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact product quality and production efficiency.

What You'll Bring
