Entegee in Central Florida is seeking a hands-on Tooling Design Engineer to develop mechanical tooling and production-support equipment from concept through release. This role works closely with manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, and assembly teams in a highly regulated environment.

You will create 3D concepts in Creo, design fixtures, gauges, and tooling, manage CAD data in Windchill/PLM, and ensure designs meet manufacturability, safety, and serviceability requirements. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 6+ years of hands-on 3D design experience using Creo.
• 6+ years of CAD/CAM and PLM experience, including Windchill.
• Experience designing harness boards, tooling, fixtures, jigs, gauges, dies, or similar production equipment.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

We are seeking a hands-on Tooling Design Engineer to support complex manufacturing and production operations in a highly regulated environment. This engineer will develop mechanical tooling and production-support equipment from concept through release, working closely with manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, and assembly teams.

What You’ll Do

• Create 3D concepts, detailed models, and drawings in Creo for custom production tooling and equipment.
• Design and support fixtures, jigs, gauges, forming tools, harness build boards, prototype hardware, and robotic end-of-arm tooling.
• Develop practical designs that account for operator access, manufacturability, safety, mobility, serviceability, and production needs.
• Support the integration of tooling into production and experimental build environments.
• Manage CAD data, releases, and revisions within Windchill/PLM.
• Work with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing groups to resolve design and production challenges.

Required Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• At least 6 years of hands‑on 3D design experience using Creo or Creo Parametric.
• At least 6 years of experience with CAD/CAM and PLM systems, including Windchill.
• Direct experience designing harness boards, tooling, fixtures, jigs, gauges, dies, or similar production‑support equipment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, materials, and mechanical design principles.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Preferred Experience

• CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, or machine‑shop collaboration.
• Experience supporting prototype builds or high‑compliance manufacturing environments.

This is a fully onsite position in Central Florida. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
