Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant for the weekend shift to support Operations and Maintenance of indirect purchasing commodities. The role focuses on maintaining stock levels, MRP replenishment to maximum levels, and cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include complying with policies, conducting cycle counts,barcode tagging, and collaborating with maintenance, facilities, and engineering teams to drive cost reductions and supplier cost savings.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree is preferred.
• 1 year manufacturing experience is preferred.
• SAP MRP Experience is preferred.

Job Description

• Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.


• Comply with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures.


• Perform regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.


• Barcode materials and locations of materials to allow for scanning.


• Support Stock out Issues, root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence


• Process mail shipments.


• Process repairs of spare parts or tools finding the best vendor to perform the repair in a timely manner and arrange shipping of repair parts to vendor.


• Fill in for both plant locations and at times work on different shifts.


• Interface with Maintenance, Facilities, Operations and Engineering teams daily


• Identify and execute Continuous Improvement Projects.


• Identify cost savings with suppliers.


• Identify Obsolete Inventory assisting in resolutions.


• Responsible for Invoice Resolutions supporting Accounts Payable.


• Other duties as assigned within the Indirect Purchasing Scope.


• Responsible for communicating when there is an issue affecting the Environment, Health, Safety or Quality to his / her respective Manager.

Required Skills And Education
