Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Tool Crib Attendant Level 1/2 in Iuka, MS. Duties include receiving, storing, and issuing tools and fixtures, maintaining tool records, and performing periodic inventory.

Shift is Monday to Thursday 5:00pm to 3:30am, with responsibilities spanning calibration and equipment maintenance. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to lift 35 pounds and operate small tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to handle small tools and parts with hands.
• Ability to use vibrating tools and perform torqueing operations.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue tools, fixtures, dies, and measuring devices.
• Maintain records of tools issued to employees and perform periodic inventory.
• Requisition stock as needed and report damaged or missing equipment.
• Calibrate measuring devices periodically and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Follow established procedures for disposal of surplus or obsolete equipment.
