Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant Level 1/2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Iuka, MS.

Shift is for Monday to Thursday 5:00pm to 3:30am The Tool Crib Attendant will receive, store, and issue tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices. Maintains records of tools issued to employees; takes periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed; reports damaged, worn out, or missing equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 0 year experience in a tool crib, maintenance/manufacturing environment, or inventory control role.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to use/hold/manipulate small tools and parts with hands; fine manipulation is required.
• Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance per company and business needs
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access (PAR) per company and business needs

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices.
• Maintains records of tools issued to employees; takes periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed; reports damaged, worn out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database.
• Cleans, oils, and performs minor repairs on equipment; disposes of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance with established procedure.
• Ensures that measuring devices are periodically calibrated.
