PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Maintains and controls the Engineering Department’s materials tool inventories.
2. Maintains daily log of items received.
3. Prepares purchase requisitions as needed.
4. Issues tools to the Engineering Department employees.
5. Establishes and maintains par levels of supplies for the Engineering Department.
6. Inspects all tools and cords used by the Engineering Department to identify and potential safety problems.
7. Works closely with the Purchasing and Receiving Departments.
8. Drives to pick up parts as required (from Vendors throughout L.A. area).
9. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience Required: Minimum 2 years experience in inventory control. Valid Driver’s license required and one year driving experience. Must provide a DMV printout.

Education: High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education.

Other Requirements: Knowledgeable with materials used for building maintenance. Ability to identify tool and equipment used by the maintenance employees. Must have basic computer skills. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Outstanding attendance/punctuality. Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position.

SCHEDULED HOURS

Commerce Casino operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. Schedules may vary depending on business needs.
