Qualifications

• 1-3 years of counter sales/customer service experience.

Shift:

Hours are 3pm - 11pm and can vary based on staffing and business needs including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, holidays, and/or weekends.

Basic Job Functions:

The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for providing inventoried parts and other supplies to our maintenance and production teams as requested. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, responsibility of processing receivers, executing inventory transactions, cycle counting, confirming inventory accuracy and general housekeeping.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license to become forklift certified
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that may include scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
• 1-3 years of counter sales/customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with vendors and contractors
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Prior industrial, commercial and/or automotive storeroom experience
• Strategic sourcing experience
• Inventory control/management experience
• Associate’s degree in business or related field
