Job summary

CSP is seeking a motivated warehouse/inventory associate to join our plant team in Seguin, Texas. You will perform receipt verification, stock checks, cycle counts, and material movements using forklifts, while adhering to quality and safety standards.

You should have a High School Diploma and 6 months to a year of related experience; proficiency with MS Office and basic math is helpful. Our team embraces continuous improvement and a safe, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months to a year of related warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
  • Basic math skills and ability to compute rates and percentages.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, e-mail) and basic database use.

Responsibilities

  • Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles and verifies receipts.
  • Examines stock for conformance to specifications and marks with codes.
  • Keep crib floor and shelves clean and orderly.
  • Stores articles with correct method, location, and handling.
  • Performs cycle counts and reports discrepancies.
  • Issues supplies and processes appropriate paperwork.
  • Utilizes forklift to unload trucks or move stock as required.
  • Support TS-16949 and ISO-14001 initiatives.
  • Participate, comply, and support health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Description Essential Job Functions Includes the following.
  • Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices and enters the receipt into the computer software.
  • Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications, marks with identifying codes, figures, or letters.
  • Keep crib floor and shelves clean and orderly.
  • Stores articles by determining the proper method of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
  • Performs cycle counts, investigates, and reports reasons for discrepancies.
  • Issues supplies/inventory and processes appropriate paperwork.
  • Utilizes forklift to unload trucks or put stock away as required.
  • Support TS-16949 and ISO-14001 initiatives.
  • Participate, comply, and support the environmental, health and safety system requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Language Skills- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence, and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Mathematical Skills- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer Skills- Competence in personal computer Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, e-mail) and familiar with other database related software.
  • Experience Knowledge of Industrial machine components or a mechanical background is a plus but not required.
  • Six months to a year experience preferred.
  • Education High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.

The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

Will be required to work within the plant – factory environment where there is some exposure to noise, dust, fiberglass, and heat.

Must adhere to PPE requirements as defined in the safety manual when in the manufacturing area.
