Position Description

As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

• Machine components according to instructions and engineering drawings
• Change tools and make offset adjustments
• Review blueprints, routing sheets and accompanying documents for accuracy and machining requirements
• Understand and follow machining policies, instructions, work rules and safety guidelines
• Meet schedules and maintain quality standards

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

• 3+ years of work experience related to CNC lathe machining
• Mill turn manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required
• Experience interpreting blueprint dimensions and using measuring tools
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong interpersonal skills

Benefits

The base compensation range for this role is $23 - $30 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
