Position Description

Join Applied Medical as an Automation Maintenance Technician and be at the forefront of revolutionizing medical device manufacturing. As part of our Automation Maintenance Team, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of our production equipment. You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to achieve maintenance and production goals while adhering to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production and automation equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve technical issues during maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Follow all safety regulations, maintenance guidelines, and operational procedures to meet compliance and quality standards.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Support repairs and parts orders by communicating effectively with team leaders and reporting concerns promptly.
  • Teamwork & Goal Setting: Foster a collaborative work environment by contributing to team objectives and helping to meet or exceed production and quality targets.
Position Requirements
  • Working 2nd Shift - 2PM- 11PM
  • Self-Motivation: A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively collaborate with team members and document activities.
  • Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination to perform precise and detailed tasks.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with one or more of the following fields is essential: Electronics, Electrical Systems, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical Systems
  • Educational Background/Experience: A high school diploma, GED, or at least one year of experience in a similar position.
Preferred
  • One year of experience in maintaining equipment in a manufacturing environment
