Invio Automation, a leading Industry 4.0 automation provider in the United States, seeks a Tool Builder to design, assemble, and debug robotic and custom tooling. You will interpret engineering data, collaborate with engineering, and ensure quality with attention to detail across programs.
Based in New Baltimore, MI, you will frequently travel to customer sites (about 20%) and support both internal and field installations, ensuring adherence to standards and schedules in a fast-paced environment.

A Tool Builder will apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic theory, and related knowledge to build, test, and de-bug robotic and custom automation equipment according to engineering data. This position deals with the stress of managing multiple tasks at once, and prioritizing tasks based on the situation at hand. They may be asked to perform multiple roles depending on what is necessary on any given day.
Demonstrable knowledge and skills for machine assembly of complex tooling, automation, and robotic systems. Associates degree from an accredited community college or vocational school in a technical field is preferred. Relevant work experience and/or training will be considered in lieu of post-secondary education. 5+ years of related work experience is preferred.
