A Tool Builder applies mechanical expertise to build, test, and debug robotic systems and custom automation equipment in accordance with engineering specifications. This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while effectively prioritizing work based on evolving demands.
Tool Builders are adaptable professionals who may take on a variety of responsibilities depending on daily operational needs. A key strength in this role is the ability to understand and uphold safety, productivity, quality standards, and the ability to communicate these priorities clearly and effectively within the team.
To successfully perform in this role, an individual must demonstrate strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in the assembly of complex tooling, automation, and robotic systems. The ideal candidate maintains a high level of professionalism and consistently demonstrates a proactive, positive approach when working with both internal and external customers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to perform light physical activity. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
Associates degree from an accredited college or vocational school in a technical field is preferred. Relevant work experience and/or training will be considered in lieu of post‑secondary education. 5+ years of related work experience is preferred.
