Job summary

VIP Staffing is immediately hiring skilled Tool and Die Operators for a large manufacturing company located in San Antonio. The pay is up to $19 per hour based on experience, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6:30 PM, including required overtime.

Ideal candidates will have experience in mold assembly and at least two years in the tooling industry. Responsibilities include training junior operators, inspecting mold elements, and conducting machining sketches.

Job description

Immediately hiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tool and Die Operators for a large manufacturing company on the southside of San Antonio.

Pay is up to $19/hr. based on experience; Shift is Mon-Fri 10am-6:30pm (overtime as required).

Duties

• Able to replace / rework if any tool elements are found worn out, broken, chipped, etc.
• Responsible for solving tooling issues if any found during running the mold.
• Be able to train junior operators in assembly techniques (Grinding techniques, advanced inspection techniques etc.,)
• Responsible for receiving new mold’s & conducting incoming inspection
• Handling of measuring instruments like micrometer, vernier caliper.
• Inspection the tool elements in height gauge / master
• Responsible for changing the mold tool in molding.
• Estimate the work as per plan and deliver the job 100% on time every time.
• Prepare the machining sketch for grinding operators.
• Assemble tool and ensure all shot-offs are perfectly matched.
• Conducts and monitors 5S activities.
