LMT Products is seeking a highly skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our precision manufacturing team in New Jersey. You will fabricate, maintain, and repair injection molds and tooling used to produce plastic components, interpreting CAD drawings and engineering specs.

The role requires expertise in manual and CNC machining, mold construction, and hands-on problem solving. Collaboration with engineering teams and strict adherence to quality and safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in tool and die making, focusing on injection molding.
  • Skilled in hand-fitting for component assembly.
  • Proficient with manual and CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines.
  • Familiar with injection, cooling, and ejection systems.
  • Able to work independently or in a team.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tool and die making, with emphasis on injection molding.
  • Skilled in using hand-fitting techniques to ensure components’ proper assembly and function.
  • Proficient in operatingmanual and CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and Wire/Sinker EDM machines
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments.
  • Familiarity with the different injection, cooling, and ejection systems common in injection mold designs.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in TIG and/or precision laser welding is a plus.

Salary Range - $30 -$45 per hour
