Qualifications

  • Ability to diagnose tooling issues, propose solutions, and collaborate with engineering and production teams.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement (Lean/5S).
  • Relevant technical training or apprenticeship in tool & die making; prior energy/manufacturing experience beneficial.
  • Effective communication and ability to work independently or in a diverse, inclusive team.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide machining and assembly.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Tool and Die Maker role is based in Whitewater, WI. The Tool and Die Maker will build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and molds used in manufacturing operations, ensuring they meet production and quality requirements. Daily responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, setting up and operating machine tools, performing precision machining and fitting, and troubleshooting tooling issues on the shop floor. The role also involves inspecting finished tools and dies for accuracy, performing preventive maintenance, collaborating with engineering and production teams on design improvements, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
