You will read blueprints and engineering drawings, set up manual and CNC tools, and work with engineering and quality teams to improve tooling reliability and efficiency.

Bachman Machine Company is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker for a full-time, on-site position in St. Louis, Missouri.
This position is responsible for building, fitting, modifying, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing progressive and transfer stamping dies and related production tooling.
Day-to-day responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings; setting up and operating manual and CNC machine tools; performing precision machining, fitting, and measurement; troubleshooting tooling issues on the production floor; and making adjustments necessary to maintain part quality and production performance.
The Tool & Die Maker will work closely with engineering, production, and quality personnel to solve problems, support new tooling, improve existing tooling, and identify opportunities to improve manufacturability, reliability, and efficiency.
