Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker in Norcross, GA for a direct-hire, long-term opportunity. The role focuses on building, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining dies and tooling with manual machining equipment.

The ideal candidate will join a growing maintenance and tooling function, demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, and be committed to ongoing development in a quality-focused shop environment.

Qualifications

• Pass a skills-based assessment covering reading, math, inspection & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
• 3-5 years of tooling and machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
• TS/ISO certification is a plus.
• Crane and forklift certification is a plus.
• Onboarding includes enrollment in a registered apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Build new dies from print through completion.
• Reproduce broken details independently.
• Troubleshoot dies and tooling independently.
• Operate manual machining equipment independently.
• Maintain tools and equipment needed to perform the job.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Growing metals manufacturer in Norcross seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker for a direct-hire, long-term opportunity with room to grow!

Pay rate is $30-33/ hour, based on experience. This is a 1st shift opportunity.

Shift Schedule & Flexibility

• Initial schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Must be flexible to stay over into 2nd shift and work occasional weekends as needed.
• As you gain experience in the role, the schedule will transition to approximately 9:00/10:00 a.m. - 5:30/6:30 p.m.
• Schedule requires ongoing flexibility to support both shifts and operational needs.
