Job summary

MIKEL, Inc. in Middletown, RI, is seeking an experienced SSN Tomahawk Trainer/Logistics & Fleet Support (LFS) to develop curriculum and provide platform instruction for all SSN Tomahawk Weapon System variants, plus real-time fleet support including ISEA, Chat, and technical support.

The role requires 8+ years of Tomahawk experience, SME-level documentation, and on-site training at NUWC Newport, RI, with up to 30% travel and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Fire Control experience (FT/FC) in naval systems.
• Ability to produce technical documents from multiple sources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with government program/project management.
• Master Training Specialist (MTS) qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of ISAT, GCCS-M, IETM, PMS and FMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test SSN Tomahawk Weapon Systems in current fielding.
• Write documentation for TWS, including TTWCS User’s Guide and TOM.
• Provide SME support to the TAG during revision cycles.
• Attend client meetings to track requirements and stakeholders.
• Install TWS software on SSN platforms and train operators on site.
• Provide on-site and remote technical assistance as needed.
• Support a 24-hour War Room during Tactical Tomahawk operations.
