Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) to join the Tomahawk team for Recert, supporting a large, high-visibility development program. The MPM will be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams, creating and executing the Material Program Strategy to ensure flawless execution from front end to contract closure.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years.
• Experience managing supplier performance relative to financials, performance metrics and/or contract compliance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
• Plan and execute sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where process.
• Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and required TAttachments/TCMs.
• Assist with the generation of SSOWs.
• Oversee SCM activities to meet program requirements, linking Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create a common schedule based on MRP.
• Monitor performance metrics and address program/functional issues.
• Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet objectives.
• Generate and process SSN/Activation requests.
• Drive Purchase Requisition generation and PO placement/management.
• Participate in supplier engagements/reviews to ensure performance.
• Travel up to 20%.
