Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a senior hardware integration professional to support flight test events, platform integration labs, and data analysis. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Expect tasks from integration to data reporting in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include testing, verification, data review, and collaboration across engineering teams to ensure mission-ready systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or a Master’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Hardware Systems Integration experience, with preference for integration on shipboard platforms.
  • Experience supporting field tests or systems deployed in the field.
  • Telemetry Analysis experience.
  • Experience maintenance and repair of weapons platforms, including troubleshooting and fault isolation.
  • Experience using Earned Value Management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform integration, verification, and testing to ensure the system under test performs according to design, specs and/or requirements.
  • Perform data collection activities, review and assess data elements, and provide detailed reports of results.
  • Trace and/or correct faults in mechanical or electronic systems, familiarity with failure reporting, analysis, corrective action and fault tree analysis.
  • Create/modify documentation for reviews like Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Test Data Review (TDR).
  • Support field testing for land and shipboard testing.
  • Able to work in a high-paced environment.
  • Generate CR, CN, or VARs, complete data package and take to board (ERB/CCB).
  • Monitor/manage upcoming tasks; assign resources (MS Project knowledge).
  • Collaborate with CAM, IPT, TA, CE; attend weekly meetings to provide status.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Perform integration, verification, and testing to ensure the system under test performs according to design,specsand/or requirements

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requiresBachelor’sdegree and aminimum often(10) years of relevant experience OR aMaster’s Degreeand a minimum ofeight(8) years of relevant experience
  • Hardware Systems Integration experience, with preference for integration onshipboardplatforms
  • Experience supporting field tests, or systems deployed in the field
  • Telemetry Analysis experience
  • Experience performing maintenance and repair of weapons platforms, including troubleshooting, fault isolation, and resolution activities
  • Experience using Earned Value Management systems
Qualifications We Value:
  • Technician experience working on military platforms, such as Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, Ground Based, and ship-based platforms
  • Experience in integration with test equipment, telemetry data analysis tools, and missile systems host platforms.
  • Experience managing and presenting technical data to Stakeholders and Customer community, in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.
  • Technical leadership with capture/pursuit experience, including contribution or authoring of white papers, RFI responses, proposal of technical volumes, or related experience
  • Experience with RF spectral and temporal effects for sensor and backgrounds, including clutter, multipath, self-interference, grounding and shielding, and mitigation factors.
  • Experience in integrating RF/EO sensor output, either modulated waveforms or streams of digital samples used for real-time representation of RF/EO scenes data collection / analysis (including Telemetry)
  • Test Systems design experience and collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines, such as electrical, electronics, mechanical, software, and computer engineering.
  • Experience in RF/EO integration of hardware systems withhigh levelof understanding of digital signal processing algorithms, advanced waveforms, antenna patterns, and techniques used in resource-constrained missile systems.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
