Job summary

BBQ Holdings, Inc. in Louisville, KY is seeking a friendly To Go Specialist/Cashier to assist guests with orders, explain menu items, and ensure prompt pickup or delivery.

You will support team members, keep workstations clean, handle tablets and POS devices, and contribute to a positive dining-at-home experience. High school diploma preferred; prior restaurant experience helpful; training provided.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required.
• English language and professional communications skills are required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.
• Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities; working calmly under pressure and exercising good judgment.
• Ability to utilize tablets, point of sale equipment and telephones with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
• Must maintain a friendly famous attitude regardless of how busy the position may get.

Responsibilities

• Share menu knowledge with Guests to provide a great experience for pickup or delivery.
• Be punctual, support fellow Team Members, and complete side duties (bussing, cleaning, expediting orders, running food).
• Handle tablets and POS devices accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain friendly, professional communication with Guests and teammates.
• Contribute to a clean, organized work area and smooth operation during busy times.

Who We're Looking For....

As a To Go Specialist/Cashier, you will share with our Guests your knowledge of the menu allowing them to have a great experience at home or in their office. We expect you to be punctual, to support your fellow Team Members, and complete side duties that include but may not be limited to bussing tables, cleaning workstations, expediting orders and running food.

Education And Experience
