Job summary

Cadence Education in Otsego, MN seeks a passionate Toddler Teacher to support daily classroom operations and implement Cadence programs. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment for children including those with IEPs, while maintaining routines and building positive relationships with families.

Under supervision of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will contribute to curriculum delivery and safety compliance, with opportunities for CDA training, tuition reimbursement, and

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, but state licensing requirements may be sufficient.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children are treated with dignity and care.
• Greet children and families daily and establish professional, welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and addressing individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report accidents as required.
• Assist in managing child behaviors in line with Cadence policies and classroom expectations.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development, possibly outside regular hours.
