Job summary

Academy Child Care in Denver is seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler assistant teacher to guide a classroom of young learners through a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes emotional, social, and academic growth.

You’ll create and implement activities, foster critical thinking and a love of learning, maintain a safe, nurturing environment, and communicate with parents. Full-time hours, Monday–Friday, benefits included.

Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience in a preschool or early childhood setting preferred.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations for preschool classrooms.
• Strong understanding of child development and best teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Track and document children’s progress and development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support each child’s needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers.
• Follow all safety, health, and classroom management protocols.
• Address and document behavioral or developmental concerns.
