Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or Associates degree in ECE.
• Prior experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood setting.
• Strong understanding of toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with families and colleagues.
• Ability to pass a background check as required by Pennsylvania state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for toddler-aged children.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports early childhood development.
• Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth.
• Supervise toddlers during play, meals, and rest times to ensure health and safety.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a positive learning community.
• Follow all licensing regulations, health guidelines, and center policies.
