Job summary

The Community Group in Lawrence, MA seeks a dedicated teacher for the Community Day Early Learning Program. You will plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum to nurture growth, curiosity, and joy in young learners.

You will foster a safe, inclusive classroom, collaborate with assistants and staff, communicate with families, assess progress, and ensure health and safety. This role requires MA EEC certification, a degree in Early Childhood Education, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certification required
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• CORI/SORI fingerprint check required

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Lead and train assistants, volunteers, and interns.
• Collaborate to craft daily activities and routines.
• Deliver engaging lessons and maintain progress records.
• Communicate progress to parents and guardians.
