Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team in the United States. You will support daily classroom operations, help implement Cadence programs, and nurture children’s development in a safe, engaging environment.

You will collaborate with the Lead Teacher, communicate with families, and ensure licensing compliance. A degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred, with state licensing requirements a must; CDA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for a teacher in licensed childcare centers.
• Minimum experience and education per state requirements.
• Previous experience in early childhood or group care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive classroom environment with dignity and care for all children.
• Greet children and families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in meeting individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs/behavior plans.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing Cadence Education curriculum and programs.
• Communicate professionally with families and colleagues using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report accidents/incidents.
• Assist in managing and escalating child behaviors per policies.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development outside regular hours.
