Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a toddler teacher for a Full Time, Hourly position in Philadelphia. You will nurture young minds, connect with families, and contribute to a supportive community through hands-on learning and caring supervision.

You’ll hold a degree in education or a related field and have 2+ years of childcare experience, focusing on joyful, age-appropriate activities and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment for every child.

Qualificações

• Proof of an achieved degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services related field as defined by the appropriate state licensing agency.
• 2 plus years childcare experience

Responsabilidades

• Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn
• Being patient and kind with our parents
• Being a role model by making a positive, lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
• Cultivating a sensitive, patient early learning environment for both children and families.
• Planning and implementing dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons are offered.
• Supervising each child in your care by being able to identify, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, always ensuring a safe environment.
• Upholding all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for overall commitment to quality in childcare.
• Maintaining a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines of the children.
