Job summary

The Goddard School of Monroe, CT is seeking a nurturing, energetic Full-Time Toddler Teacher to guide children ages 18 months to 3 years. You will plan age-appropriate activities, build strong relationships with families, and maintain a safe, engaging classroom that supports growth through play-based learning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA, Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience working with toddlers in licensed childcare or early learning settings preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Reliable, dependable, and passionate about working with young children.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Full-Time Toddler Teacher

The Goddard School of Monroe is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and dedicated Full-Time Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, creates a safe and engaging learning environment, and enjoys helping young children learn and grow through play-based experiences.

Position Summary

As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering positive relationships with children and families, and maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom environment. You will work collaboratively with fellow teachers and school leadership to support the development of children ages 18 months to 3 years.

Schedule Requirements

This is a full-time position. Candidates must be available to work our rotating schedule, which includes opening, mid-day, and closing shifts as assigned. Flexibility and reliability are essential to meet the needs of the school and our families.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to sit on the floor, bend, squat, kneel, and actively engage with children throughout the day.
• Ability to supervise children both indoors and outdoors.
