Job summary

Primrose School of Evergreen in San Jose, CA is seeking a Toddler Teacher to provide a safe, loving environment for babies aged 12 to 24 months. You will support development through purposeful play and a daily schedule, building motor skills and vocabulary with the classroom team.

Qualifications

12 ECE core units with a C or better; 3 Infant/Toddler units required.
Patience and a desire to nurture young children.
Experience in licensed childcare preferred.
Must pass state background check.
Ability to use an iPad for logs, incident reports and parent messages.

Responsibilities

Engage, interact, and supervise children in positive ways to support their growth and learning.
Provide a safe, attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity and exploration.
Plan with Education Coach and implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule.
Complete, supervise and monitor continual evaluation of each child’s developmental needs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and childcare regulations.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and classroom activities.
