La Mere Academy in Leander, TX is seeking a Toddler Teacher for a 2-year-old classroom. The role is full-time with a Monday-Friday schedule, focusing on safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities for 24-36 month-olds.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with toddlers in a daycare, childcare center, preschool, or early learning environment.
  • Strong understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to frequently bend, lift, sit on the floor, and actively engage with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for children ages 24-36 months.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Follow all state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies.
  • Build positive relationships with families and provide regular communication regarding children's progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a high-quality early learning experience.

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Toddler Teacher to lead a classroom of 2-year-old children and provide a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

Position Overview

The Toddler Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing activities that support the social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development of two-year-old children. The ideal candidate is patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about early childhood education, with the ability to foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
