Level 2 Background Check

DCF 45 Child Care Training Hours(Deal-Breaker)
Minimum 1 year experience required in Early Childhood Education Setting

Responsibilities
  • Design and follow a complete teaching plan based on the Goddard Philosophy and Wonder of Learning curriculum.
  • Prove to be reliable, dependable, and on-time.
  • Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions
  • Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with the Directors and Owner.
  • Follow and comply with teaching standards and all health and safety regulations.
  • Feel comfortable and safe working in our clean, state-of-the-art facilities with strict health and safety guidelines.
  • Feel a sense of accomplishment as you hear the laughter and experience the wonder of children participating in activities you planned.
  • Observe children’s interests and work with other teachers to develop creative ideas for an engaging curriculum.
  • Engage with other early childhood professionals and continue to grow in your profession.
Skills

  • Proven working experience as an toddler teacher in a childcare setting for at least 1 year.
  • Excellent knowledge of child development and latest education practices.
  • Teaching and organization skills.
