Job summary

KIDS ACADEMY Childcare & Preschool in Ohio is seeking an experienced Toddler Teacher to select age-appropriate programs, prepare lesson plans, and support staff in delivering nurturing, quality care.

You will foster learning and social development, communicate with parents, adhere to licensing rules, and contribute to program growth and outreach through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• At least 2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• Coursework or a degree in early childhood education, child development, or a CDA.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding child care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of caring and nurturing children in a licensed educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ODJFS Child Care licensing rules.
• Develop lesson plans.
• Interact with children to support effective learning and socialization.
• Consistent Communication with parents.
• Participation in staff and training meetings.
• Maintain clean and tidy classroom environment.

Job Summary

As the Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for selecting age-appropriate programs, activities, and curricula for the children in our care. You will also support the current staff, manage scheduling and office supplies, bring positive communication to the team, and implement new strategies to grow and expand our outreach.
